I have been on a hiatus of writing due to some great news. Becky and I are now homeowners! After about 3 months of searching we have found the perfect home where we can live together as a family.

The amount of responsibility and time it takes as a homeowner has been a lot to take on, but it has been taken on with grace, knocking out one project after the next.

Luna, Odin, and Shelby have been getting along much better than expected. The worry was that Luna and Odin may not adjust with each other, however, it has been much better than expected. With that I bring more news, we are about to embark on becoming fosters for a dog named Riley. It is one year to the day that I have adopted Odin, and we will be temporarily adding one to the pack until we can find Riley a furever home. Becky and I have talked about it over the past year and can't wait to finally be able to give comfort to a pup in need of a home.

Another update, sadly, within the first 5 minutes of bringing Odin to the new home he found a rabbit nest and 3 of the bunnies did not make it. He definitely thought they were toys as he was not trying to eat them, he was playing with them like he would a toy. A few weeks later at my mom's house he found a duck nest and scared off the dad duck. No eggs were harmed, but if ducks spoke our language that duck would've said every curse word in the book towards Odin.
