An Enjoyable Weekend

No great milestone like in prior posts, but I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

On Saturday, Becky and I went downtown and spent time with our buddy Lou at the FC game. Lou is a mega-supporter of FC Cincy and we joined him for pregame festivities then snagged the 4th row of the Bailey. The atmosphere is absolutely electric! Chanting the entire time, jumping up and down, heckling the opposing team, and waving flags in the stadium. I initially didn't think it would be for me, but it was a hell of a time. Only managed one pic this time. (Also, think this site will be less anonymous going forward.)

Sunday was laid back, but just as enjoyable. Woke up at 6am and threw my first pork butt on the smoker. Intended to get it done at 2pm, but smoking math had it (almost) finished around 4:30. Having my mother, Paul, and Blake over to enjoy the day was heartwarming. Relaxing and being able to provide a scrumptious dinner is comforting. Priorities in life are changing, I enjoy the simpler moments in life.
