After disappointing venue after disappointing venue we have finally found the perfect location. Whether it be the cost of the locations or the lack of upkeep of the venue, none of the prior venues would work for us. It was becoming disheartening to see Becky let down by venues we had anticipated were going to be the one.

However, with all else in life, everything happens for a reason. The location we've selected is stunning. A mix between the outdoors and, as Becky call's it, Rustic Elegance. The venue has the architectural look of plantation house with discernable hints of the French Quarters of New Orleans. A wonderful location that will forever hold a piece of our hearts.

Our pre-marital counseling with Steve has given us the opportunity to think critically and reflect the why of our marriage. While biblically based in approach, the counseling has been very powerful and deepened my connection with the Stoic philosophy. I struggle accepting some of the Christian beliefs and find the differences too stark to consider myself a Christian. That said, I have great respect for the religion and the virtues it imbues in the followers of Jesus.
